These were done at Casbah and at a Starbucks in Whittier. There are a couple of drawings from my head mixed in with the drawings done from life, so, no, a ruggedly handsome man did not walk into Casbah that day (though it does happen relatively often) as in the second drawing from the bottom, nor was there a lady with a dope frilly mandarin collar as shown in the third drawing from the bottom. By the way, I couldn't help noticing as I drew him that the super cool, stylish dude in the second drawing from the top bears a striking resemblance to my brother... particularly if my brother wore hipster glasses and started rocking an awesome orange scarf (which, other than the glasses as the bro's eyesight is fine, is totally plausible). Maybe my brother already has a sweet orange scarf, or something similar - if so, I'm totally traveling up to the Bay area and stealing it!
