Yikes, it's been awhile since my last post - it's not like 2 years have passed, no, but still, enough time has gone by to make me feel some pangs of guilt. My excuse(s)? I've been... distracted. By life.
I've put those distractions to the side for a second to post these drawings that I did back in August at the Los Feliz figure drawing workshop. The model was great - wonderful poses, interesting face... She looked like an artist's model from the 1920s, and also a little like one of Ingres' models with her mysterious head wrap. She's the first model I've ever seen who, between poses, was checking out a photography book with pictures of nudes in order to get ideas for her own poses - the playfulness in her poses was wonderful.
